Hair’em, tear’em, frighten and scare them,
Lenin and Stalin and Marx
Went to the fair
And what did they there?
They were looking for giggles and laughs.
Lenin called the crowd brothers,
They were better than others
For being there to answer the call.
He opened a shrine hitting capitalist swine
At twopence or threepence a ball.
Stalin went down to the centre of town
Descending like Moses from mountains.
He spent all the day
Refusing to pay
And shooting his generals off fountains.
Marx repeatedly said
He was not really red
But had been badly misrepresented.
He was selling his book at a penny a look
And certified those who dissented.
